Hey everybody, what's up? I'm sorry I havent posted for a while but we been busy with our campaign for the enviornment department. The presentation took place on Nov 29 at the state chancellery of Dresden. Our group (Josi, Anja and Me) presented four ideas for "biodiversity" infront of the minister Prof. Dr. Roland Woeller. Three other groups prepared poster as well and at the end they chose a really ugly green poster which will be hang out in January 2008. Wanna see our poster-ideas? Pictures!
Coming weekend we have our big-come-together at the christmas market in Dresden. This year our market has a new location, because they build an underground car park at the Altmarkt. I already been there twice, one time with Josi and Anja and the second time with Anita. On Saturday my family and friends and Franzi's family and friends will be there to enjoy the mulled-wine *yum* I already got some Christmas presents but more needs to be bought- maybe next week when I got more time. We have Christmas vacation from Dec 21st to Jan. 6th so I cannot wait to get off! My Mom and Me will go and buy a Christmas tree tomorrow - a small one that fits into our living room.
It's getting colder and colder *brrr* I already wear my gloves and scarf when I go outside, so I guess in 40 days is Christmas *yay* Bought two Christmas gifts already and next week I will go shopping for more, since I only have university on Monday and Tuesday.
Today I booked my summer-trip to Sharm el Shaik Egypt. I decided to spend 7 days with Matthias next year from Jan 29 to Feb 5. I found a really nice hotel named "Swiss Inn Golden Beach Dahab" at Holidaycheck. This 3,5 star-hotel got really good ratings from guests who already been there. Actually I cannot wait to fly over to warm up, it is soooo cold here! AHHHHH!!
Last weekend I been with the uni-girls to a Mafia-Party. Our fellow students Franziska and Nadine celebrated their birthdays with lotz of people at Zitronenpresse in Dresden. Gosh, the party totally rocked!! Everybody came dressed up like a Mafia Gangster and we had sooo much of fun. Pictures! I'm really thinking about a similar theme party for my 25th Birthday. On Saturday we went over to Mario's and had a poker night. I did not win, like usual but it was nice seeing Mario and Anja again. Pictures! Sunday I helped Stefan's sister Anita with painting her living-room-walls. The colors turned out great, we both loved the orange and light-yellow- looks awesome!
I'm back from an awesome Halloween party in Leipzig! As you know Elli is throwing her H-ELLI-WEEN party every year and I had to be there! The party took place at FHL-Club in the inner city of Leipzig and about 30 people showed up.. supposed to be about 60 but we had fun anyway. Special guest from Belgium: Alex, Aga's boyfriend stopped by to say 'Hello' and drove on to Poland-- all people dressed really scary, esp. Christian, Elli's boyfriend had a scary mask that looked real! I wore the same costume like last year since I had no time to come up with a new idea :( yeah I know- I have to be creative but..next year I promise! Pictures!
University is really boring at the moment, not much to do, we got two projects to prepare but I guess the real work starts soon :( Aqua-Fitness is fun as usual, Mr. Schneider does everything to keep us in shape over Christmas- did you notice? So many Christmas chocolate is in the stores already- ahh! Santa Claus is coming soon and I do not know what I want! Well I know, I want to be loved :(
Last week I met Susi K! Thats the girl I used to hang out with back in 2000 when we waited with Bine and the other Susi at Hilton Hotel for celebrities *yeah* Susi lives and works in Egypt now: got a cute boyfriend and a two-room apartment! She said I can visit her -- but since I been to Hurghada two years already maybe later.
Going over to Stefan's sister coming Sunday to paint her living room walls in an light-orange color- guess we gonna have lotz of fun! I just love to paint walls!
Since Im back from London, I finished my 5th paper for university! Everything had to be handed in by October 31st and I managed it *YES* I already got my grade for the first paper- "Mediaplan for SWATCH" a 1.7 and Im happy! We celebrated the end of summer vacation with a little Pizza-Poker-Pocher-Party at Josi's on Monday. The three of us: Me, Josi and Anja had lotz of fun preparing two huge plates of pizza- at the end we only ate half of the first pizza- it was so delicious but toooo much!! We stayed overnight at Josi's and went to university the next day, because we wanted register for the Aqua-Fit-Class but the guy there sent us away and told us to come back for the regular register-day next Monday! Damn! Pictures!
Going over to Franzi's tonight to have a little BBQ! Yes I havent had a steak for ages, that's why! And tomorrow me and the girls will be at Heiko's inauguration ceremony for his auto shop, where I created the Corporate Design! YEAH! Cannot wait to see how everything looks :) Pictures!
I took the British Airways plane on September 20th from Dresden straight to London-Gatwick. Left Dresden at 3.40 pm and landed in the UK at 4.40 pm. The flight was only about an hour long, but they served yummy sandwiches and of course drinks. I was supposed to take the train from the airport to Watford, where Norman is living. Since he was still at work I first wanted to catch the train at 5.30 pm but this one was canceled. I had to wait another hour for the next direct train to Watford- but the time passed by. The good thing was- I didnt have to wait for Norman at Watford Station- the train ride lasted one hour so I finally got to Watford at 7.30 pm! Watford is a little suburb in the north of London, with really nice houses, a college, a big park and a clubbing-street! Norman lives in a 2- room- apartment in Ikea style- When he picked me up from the train station it was weird to get into the car on the german driver's side > because as you know everything is the other way around in the UK! People drive on the left! WEIRD! We didnt do much on Thursday night, I only unpacked my stuff and we chilled infront of the TV :) Pictures
On September 11, 2001 I donated blood at the World Trade Center in Dresden, when I saw the pictures on TV! What a coincidence! I could'nt believe it what happened and I hope terrorism will end FOREVER!
Yes, it's already September-- and I'm still busy with the papers for university- I'm done with 3,5 papers and started my last paper today. I'm looking forward to write this one because it is about Weblogs and how they can influence the public opinion!
I visited my Grandparents last weekend in Thalheim. My Grandfather celebrated his 75th Birthday and we had a huge BBQ-party. Unfortunately it rained alot, so we had to eat inside-- got to see my cousin again, Stefanie just came back from Egypt with her boyfriend. We found out that they went on the same Quad-Tour that Me and Stefan went on two years ago-- funny-- although their hotel was not in Hurghada.
Im flying to London next Thursday and I cannot wait!!! Im going to sleep at my friend's apartment and will get to see all the historical sights *yeah* everybody been to London, now finally it is my turn!
The City Streetfest this year was AWESOME! Although it was crowded as hell- millions of people *GOSH* all walking around in our old town and partying up! The bands this year sucked! Tobias Regner, the superstar of 2006 was singing, also Liquido-- but I met lotz of my friends and we had fun :) Pictures!
The four weeks at Markenteam are already over.. and I have summer vacation. I really liked my summer-job *smiles* I helped everybody alot and I earned some money for my trip to London. I will fly to London on September 20th and I will be back on September 24th. I hope I manage the sight-seeing in 4 days but I guess so.
Now that Im off, the weather is nice and I wanna go swimming but I have to write essays for university *arghhh* That totally suxx- although Im done with one essay, four more are waiting for me! But this weekend is Dresden's 801 st Birthday, so there will be a huge streetfest and we will party all weekend long :) My relatives are coming over on Saturday and Mirka, our Mexican neighbor and her boy are in Dresden as well!
Yesterday me and my Mom went to "Euro-Speedway Lausitz" to see my uncle Heiko racing his motor cycle. I never been to the speedway before so it was a real experience for me to check that out. Normally visitors are not allowed to be in the pit lane but since my uncle were racing.. but I cannot imagine to ride such a fast motorcycle ever! Im tooo scared of the speed! Pictures!
I'm off!! YEAH! Summer vacation started and I'm busy with my summer-job. I work from 9 am to 6 pm at Markenteam Dresden. And I really like it, although on the first days my eyes hurted and I had bad headaches, because I wasn't used to sit infront of the computer for 8 hours! AHH, but now everything is fine, the 8 hours passes by fast and I'm always busy with something. Since I already have a design-education I can help with some cool projects :)
Coming weekend is Bowleparty-Openair *YEAH* I get to see the girls again~ haven't seen them in over a week- Josi and Anja are both working at Sparkasse, and Anja is busy with her further design-training at Mediaproject Dresden.. yep we are all busy- cannot wait until it's party-time :) hope the weather is good- it is weird. One day it is rainy and about 15C and the next day, sunny and 30C. We had a nice picnic at the Grosser Garten with some friends of Franzi, lotz to eat and played some Volleyball! Pictures!
Last weekend was really cool :) me and my Mom visited my Grandparents in Thalheim. I havent seen the dog Leo since months, and OMG he got sooo big! But he is still very childish and jumps at everybody who wants to pet him! LOL! Pictures! On Saturday we went to Freyburg, where Stefanie`s boyfriend is stationed. He works for the German army and organized a wine-tasting for all of us at Vineyard Deckert. My Aunt, my uncle, my Mom, my cousin, Stefanie's boyfriends parents and me stayed at the Vineyard until midnight and tried about 13 diffrent wines.. you can imagine how drunk we were at the end *lol* but they all tasted diffrent and yummy :) I bought me a suave wine.. but who knows when I will drink it!?? Anyway we slept at the army-base that night, because the army guys were all gone over the weekend, so we had a whole floor for ourselves :) Pictures!
Eleven more days until summer vacation starts- yes the summer-semester passed by sooooo fast! I'm off until October but I got lotz to do: I will start my summer-job at Josi's Mom's ad-agency on Thursday 12th already :) Cannot wait! Plus we have to write 5 papers *ahhh*
Matthias and Me went to Stuttgart last weekend. We actually wanted to meet up with my friend from AIK, Anne, but she was sick. So we checked out the zoo, which is really really cool, lotz of animals. We walked thru the inner city and had ice-cream at a nice parlor. Actually I liked Stuttgart, the shopping area is not sooo overloaded like in Frankfurt. Need to go there again! Pictures!
Happy belated Birthday to Jamie and Happy Birthday to Mario. I'm already awake after a loooong party night! We celebrated into Mario's 25th Birthday yesterday with lotz of alcohol and party-games. The party took place at Isi's garden in Hellerau, which was a good location and fortunately it did not rain the whole night :) Isi's Birthday was on Monday already, that's why Mario and Isi threw a party together. Thanks to Isi, we had lotz of meat to eat (because she works as a butcher). The party was great, I saw many people of the good old WG-time again, also David and Stefan were there and some others I know. Pictures!
On Friday I went with Anja, Anja and Josi and my Mom to Cossebaude Stausee, it was soooo hot that day, so we decided to go swimming :) It wasn't crowded because all those little kids were still at school and when we left at 5 pm they arrived *lol* The reservoir-water was really refreshing (about 21C) and the outside-temperature around 33C! Perfect! We all got a nice tan :) let's hope it will last a while. After swimming I went with my Mom to Franzi's Dads Birthday. Uwe threw a little BBQ party and I finally got steaks to eat *yummy*
Coming Thursday we have a University party at the Elbe, we actually wanted to have a party in February already, because we are half done with our Bachelor-studies! Thanks to the weather we finally party now :) On Friday I get my hair cut and Saturday is Noell's wedding..too bad I cannot attend :(
I'm back from a really cool weekend in Leipzig!! Yeah I saw Elli again :) I got me a car-ride for Saturday morning, unfortunately the driver was a girl who listened to hard-rock-music the whole ride and smoked like a maniac..horrible! But for 6 Euro..what do you expect? I arrived in Leipzig and Christian+Elli picked me up. We drove home to Elli's house and had Taco's for lunch. Elli's parents were on vacation, so only her grandparents and brother were home! Gosh I loved the Taco's..I need to eat them more often now!! The main reason I came to Leipzig was Michel's Birthday Party and of course I wanted to see my Elli-Belly :) so Michel's Party started at like 7 pm and it was really good organized! Lotz to eat and to drink, we also could play table-soccer and table-tennis, a DJ and lotz of party peopel came :) All in all a great evening. On Sunday I had a shared train-ride with Max back to Dresden and I needed a new bandaid for my finger.. yeah I cut myself with a bread-knife at the party! But my Mom took care of it :) Hope it will be fine until my wedding *lol*
Although me and the uni-girls had lotz to do for our presentation we had enough time to party up! Anja turned 24 on May 28th and since it was Whitsun she decided to party into her birthday on May 27th at P.M! That's a club in the inner city of Dresden, which I actually do not like much, but we had FUN!! Wanna see the pics of drunk girls partying? Pictures!
For Whitsun my uncle and my aunt came over..and we actually wanted to have a BBQ at Junge Garde Dresden, but the weather was horrible :( So Franzi invited me to her apartment that Saturday and we had a BBQ on the balcony. Three friends from Chemnitz were there and Franzi's new crush: Maik! Yes Franzi is dating a new guy and they really look cute together *aww* but but but I also have a new crush -no names right now, I dont know how it will turn out, just some details: We went for breakfast on Sunday morning and spent some really nice hours in the Czech Republic. Since the gas is so expensive in Germany right now, we decided to get gas there! All in all he is a really nice guy and I start to like him, only problem is he works in western Germany and is not in Dresden that much. But thats okay since Im busy with my studies and summer-vacations are soon!
Talking about summer-vacation, Im trying to get a job during summer so I can afford my London trip. Yes, Im flying to London in end of September to visit my friend Norman, who works there for the next 5 years. Perfect chance to see London and have free accommodation :)
This weekend I will spend in Leipzig at Elli's. A friend of us is throwing a birthday party on Saturday. Cannot wait to see my Elli again :) Seems sooo long ago, since we last have seen eachother!
For Fathers Day me and the girls went to Espitas, a mexican restaurant to have brunch from 11 to 3 pm! We first wanted to have brunch at Planwirtschaft but all tables were taken. Espitas' brunch was great, lotz of diffrent foods, yummy! Guess we all gained 2 kg! After brunch, Josi got an awesome idea: to visit the wedding market in Diesbar-Seusslitz. That's a very little hicktown close to Meissen and we had to park the car about 5 km away from the fest. Fortunately the weather was great so we could walk the 5 km..while we were walking lotz of drunk guys tried to hook up with us but they were all ugly *argh* We finally got to the wedding market at 5 pm but the goose was cooked by that time. So we are still single and did not marry in Diesbar-Seusslitz *cries* Pictures!
On Friday Mario invited us to his apartment for a Poker-BBQ-Evening and everybody was there: Anja, David, Anja, Josi, Stefan, Me and Mario.. so a little WG-Reunion! We had steaks and bratwursts for dinner and played poker until midnight! Of course I did not win, it is not my game! I dont even know who won at the end, guess there were three winners: Anja, Anja and Josi! So congrats girls.. guys you lost! Pictures!
Coming weekend is Whitsun a holiday in Germany and we get time off university! Believe it or not, but we are off until June 3rd! YAY! But we got lotz to do for university, ahhhh! Anyway, for Whitsun there is a concert at Junge Garde and I will be there with Franzi and friends. Moreover Anja will celebrate into her birthday on Sunday at PM! Pictures!
Meet my new boyfriend Mr. Baker!! Isn't he cute? My aunt baked him for me and wished me good luck in finding a new boyfriend. Well I will stay with Mr. Baker, he gives me all the love I need and moreover he tastes delicious: Yummy! Picture!
Everybody is sad that me and Stefan are not a couple anymore, but I tell everyone it was the right moment and it is better for both of us. I met Stefan again on Wednesday and we talked again about the whole situation. He is really sorry for hurting me so much and he hopes we can be friends one day. As for now, I cannot imagine a friendship, I still love him and it hurts me toooo much when I see him. So I try to keep myself busy, meet up with friends and concentrate on university.
Thursday we had a Poker-Evening at Josi's with the Anja's. We had lotz of fun but I did not win! Aww, Im always loosing that's frustrating. But I will practise until Friday. Friday is another Poker-Evening at Mario's apartment with BBQ. Pictures!
Today is Mother's Day, and we just came back from visiting my Grannys in Thalheim. We had a BBQ with my Aunt and Uncle. Stefanie and Manu couldnt join us, since they were busy :(
I broke up with Stefan yesterday, after 32 months. I couldn't stand him anymore although I still love him deep in my heart but he hurted me tooo much! It's better for me and better for him, I guess.. so that's our last picture together, from Neustadtfest last weekend: Picture!
My time- off uni is almost over!! AHHH!! University starts on April 2nd again and I'm looking forward to study again. I missed it! LOL! Yes, I really did, believe it or not. Although I had lots to do during my vacation, 4 papers had to be written, but I made it. I already got one paper back: got grade 2.3! YAY! I also got my grades for my sociology-exams: a 2.0 and a 2.7! Guess that was one of my best semesters so far, only good grades *smiles* My schedule for next semester is also perfect:
Mondays: from 9 am to 6 pm
Tuesdays: from 1pm to 4 pm
Wednesdays: from 9 am to 3 pm
Thursdays: from 9 am to 11 am
Fridays: OFF!!
So actually my weekend starts on Thursdays at 11 am already *hehe*! I'm already thinking about getting me a part-time job this semester, since my schedule is not that crowded, but I have to see how much time my classes will take up.
Easter vacations are soon, for Easter Friday, Stefan organized a table tennis tournament at his parents house. I hope I will win, because you can win a cup! And I never ever won a cup, maybe that's my chance!? Gosh I need to start practising!
Anja finally turned 24! Picture! Now she is old, like the birthday card says..hehe! My Mom baked a yummy cake for her and another friend brought chocolate-pudding, so we had a little Birthday party at Anja's WG. For her birthday Anja got herself new blond-hair-highlights, which look great! They are made from indian hair, they are real! Later that evening we played Poker and I lost again! Poker is absolutely not my game, but Stefan is really good at it. Probably because he pokers online alot. Me and Anja will have another Birthday-BBQ in late April, since we didnt have a party for our birthdays. Pictures!
Happy belated 50th Birthday to Stefan's Mom! She had her birthday party on March 3rd! We got picked up by a white stretch Limousine!!! YEAH, such cars that drive celebrities around in America. That day we were the celebrities! A chauffeur picked us up with champagne and drove us to "Waldmax", a really nice restaurant outside of Dresden. All of Stefan's relatives celebrated with us and we had such a good evening, yummy dinner and it was entertaining as well! Pictures!
Also Happy belated Birthday to my Aunt Anke and my cousin Stefanie. Unfortunately I could not go over to Wolfen to celebrate their birthdays, because I was really busy writing my papers for university! I have to write four papers, and Im only done with two so far *ahhhh*
Thursday, Feb 15
Me and Stefan got up at 3.30 am, showered, had breakfast and got ready. We left Stefan's apartment at 4 am, because the train was running at 4.20 am to the Airport. It was really sad to leave the cats behind, but we knew they would enjoy their time without us. And our parents would take good care of them! We got to the Airport at 4.40 am and checked in. Fortunately I took off all liquids of my hand luggage, because liquids are not allowed anymore, only in a zipper-bag and I didnt bring one. So we didnt even have something to drink..but sure we survived. Our plane took off at 6.15 am towards Munich. Yes, it was not a direct flight to Fuerteventura, we changed planes in Munich again. The plane from Munich left at 8.35 am and we finally landed in Fuerteventura at 12.10! During the flight we had such a great view thru the clouds, it was wonderful!!! I guess "over the clouds" is the best place to be, it is always sunny up there and you feel like an angel.. At Fuerteventura Airport it took ages to pick up our luggage and after 45 minutes we finally found our way to the bus that took us to our Hotel in Costa Calma. Costa Calma is a little village in the south of Fuerteventura, about 50 minutes away from the Airport. Around 2.30 pm we arrived at our hotel, named TARO BEACH! A very nice German lady at the reception desk welcomed us and handed out the room-keys. The room was comfortable and we had a good view to the Atlantic ocean. Only problem: The room-safe didnt work..!! Great! But we survived without room-safe and nothing got stolen, because we locked everything up in our suitcases. The rest of the day we spent at the beach, tanned in the sun, and walked around in Costa Calma.
Friday, Feb 16
We didnt sleep in that day, because breakfast was served at 8 am already, and we wanted to get up early to enjoy the sunny weather. The breakfast-buffet was HUGE! Lotz of diffrent things, and we even had champagne!! After breakfast we walked down to the beach, which was directly infront of our hotel..so close..perfect! The weather was great so we stayed there and suntanned until 3 pm. We even went swimming in the ocean! YAY!! But the water was really salty *yikes* At 4 pm we had an appointment with our local coordinator, who told us to sign up for some tours, such as a catamaran tour etc. So we did sign up for the catamaran-sail-tour and he also made us a good deal on a rental car (41 euros/day). After our appointment we decided to take a cab down to a town, named Morro Jable. It had a light-house and we wanted to visit it. I read somewhere that the cabs in Fuerte are cheap, so we were really shocked when the cab-driver told us the price: 17 euro! And of course he told us the price when we arrived in Morro Jable, so we couldnt get off earlier..shit! The town was also about 20 km away from Costa Calma. The last bus already left so we had to take another cab back..all in all we paid 35 euro for a really stupid trip down there! The lighthouse wasnt even open and there was nothing else to see! I tell you, get a rental car if you ever go to Fuerte, we only paid 41 euro for the WHOLE DAY and we saw the whole Island! After that expensive trip we checked out the hotel bar in the evening, where the animation team tried to entertain us. But the show sucked! So we had a very awesome evening!! HAHA!
Saturday, Feb 17
We got up at the same time, had breakfast at the same time, and picked up our rental car (a blue Opel Corsa) at 9 am. The night before, I read in our ADAC Map-Information about Fuerteventura and its sights..and found out that there is nothing really really interesting to see. But since we got the car for the whole day, we decided to drive around the Island and stop in some towns to visit some churches..lol! Yeah the only good things to see in Fuerte are churches *lol* I really dont want to tell you about every single village we visited, but check out the pictures and you will get an impression of how Fuerte looks like. The Island is only covered with vulcano-rocks and you can hardly find vegetation! All the palm-trees you see on the pictures are not real.. I mean they are real but people planted them just for the tourists *nice* Of all the villages we visited I liked El Cotillo most, it has the best BEACH !! It really looked like a postcard..awww!! We got back to Costa Calma for dinner and were very very exhausted! But Stefan did a great job-- he drove, the whole day!!
Sunday, Feb 18
On Sunday we had the Catamaran tour. We were supposed to be picked up at 8.30 am from another hotel down the street. So we had breakfast at 7.30 am already and got to the hotel in time. But the bus didnt came! After waiting for like 15 minutes a car stopped and a gay-guy came up to us and asked us if we are waiting for the catamaran-bus. We said yes, and the guy said the bus would be here in 10 minutes. So we waited another 10 minutes and finally a bus came. It was an old bus and inside it smelled awful!!! We picked up more people and finally got to Morro Jable harbor at 10 am. Yes the same Morro Jable village, where we paid soooo much to get there by cab! The captain of the catamaran welcomed us and the other 23 people..we had to take off our shoes and walk around barefoot the whole time. The catamaran sailed to a bay south of Fuerteventura and stopped there. Unfortunately it was really windy that day, so we couldnt go swimming or snorkling! All we could do was fishing! Stefan tried it, but he didnt catch a fish! Three people went swimming and they said the water was alright, but I didnt go in, because I hate to go swimming when there is no sun and it is windy!!! COLD!!! The gay-guy Manuel was really nice and even made us lunch! We all had a typical canarian food: salt-potatoes, chicken and mojo-sauce. Those mojo-sauces are really spicy and taste like garlic- actually they are garlic-sauces..but yummy!! We got back to our hotel at 4.30 pm and I guess after that afternoon, me and Stefan caught a cold! Stefan didnt feel good the whole evening and me the next day.
Monday, Feb 19
Monday was our first day to sleep in! YAY! We had breakfast at 9.30 am and actually stayed at the hotel the whole day. The weather wasnt good either, so we couldnt go swimming, but we walked along the coast for about 15 km! Almost to Morro Jable *hehe* walking along the coast was really great, we saw lotz of animals and I really enjoyed it to be close to the ocean..you feel free!!! In the evening we packed our stuff and watched TV, drunk Sangria-wine and went to bed early.
Tuesday, Feb 20
Our last day in Fuerteventura, actually only some hours, because we got picked up from the hotel at 9.30 am already, and our flight back to Germany was due to at 2.15! Until 2.15 pm we did some shopping at the airport, had lunch and read magazines. The flight back was awful, there were soooo many kids in the plane and were sitting close to us, some cried the whole time..I got a headache and didnt feel well. When we landed in Munich we noticed that our flight to Dresden was delayed: We had to wait 90 minutes..ahh..so yeah we got home at 10.30 pm! Got us a Doener and went to bed..what a trip!!!
All in all we had a good time and five days were enough to relax and look around. There isnt really anything to see in Fuerteventura.. if you only want to suntan, you can spend weeks there, the beaches are perfect, the weather is always sunny, 25-30C and the ocean is blue like the sky. Pictures!
My 24th Birthday started at home, I got up late and had a nice breakfast with my Mommy, at the afternoon my Grannys came over and I got my presents! With my friends I celebrated at Stefan's apartment later in the evening. All my friends were invited and we had a nice evening with some alcohol and games! Got a new white-black bag from the girls, which I love and of course other cool stuff. Pictures!
It is really short on the sides, but still long in the back! Looks better in reality than here on Picture! Anyway, my Mom's 46th Birthday was yesterday.. and some friends came over to celebrate with us. I got my Mom a new DVD player, since she got ER-DVD's for Christmas from me! Also new dishes from my Aunt and flowers, etc. For dinner we went to our favorite Greek Restaurant and gosh we ate sooooo much!!! Pictures!
My exams are over and now I have vacation until April! YEAH! I'm flying to Fuerte Ventura on February 15th, and I cannot wait! Nor does Stefan! But I haven't packed my stuff yet, I got one more week to go. Coming Sunday is my 24th Birthday and I will have a little Poker-Party on the 10th already with some close friends. On Sunday my relatives will come over again and we gonna have a good time.
What's up? I'm very busy..studying for my 3 exams next week! AHHH!! Got one on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday! And then I'm off until April! YEAH! Well I hope I will do good, but you never know what stupid exam-questions I will get.
My 24th Birthday is coming up as well! For all who forgot, it is on FEBRUARY 11. I will party into my Birthday on Saturday, 10th already with some friends, so I can have my relatives over on the 11th! Not sure what party we'll be going to, but I'll let you know.
Oh wow, she turned 77 ys already, good age!!! For her birthday she got a new modern carpet, which me and my mom chose. It fits perfectly on the dark old one and brings a new "touch" in her apartment! Granny loved it! For dinner we went to a historical beer brewery restaurant, close by. The location is awesome, but the food wasnt that good! Although I liked mine, and so did Granny..Stefan joined us an hour later and also got dinner :)
Today was my 2nd oral presentation for this semester and the last one. The topic was: "Online-PR in general", I liked the topic but there's soooo much to tell but I hope I figured out the main facts about it. Not sure what grade I will get, the teacher will email me my grade asap! AHHH Im excited about it, personally I think I did a good job but I was tooo nervous, like always *hehe* So now I have 2 more weeks to study for my 3 upcoming exams on Jan 31, Feb 1, Feb 2. Plus I need to write 4 essays until the end of February!! AHHH, soooo much to do!
But one good news: Me and Stefan booked our summer vacation: We will fly to Fuerte Ventura, Spain Islands, 5 days from Feb 15 to 20th! And until we leave I have to be done with at least 3 essays! Hope I can make it!?? The hotel is great, it is at Costa Calma, the Taro Beach Hotel. Alrighty I gotta go to bed, tomorrow is Friday and I have one class at 9 am *YAWN*
I started university on Thursday and on Friday Elli came over!!! She had a conference on Saturday at Dresden University. Me and Stefan picked her up at 7 pm, went straight to Stefan's apartment and then to Espitas - a yummy mexican restaurant! Since me and Elli love TACOS, we had to eat some, whether they are made american or mexican! But whoa, those Tacos were spicyyyyy!!! I can still feel the pain in my mouth *AHHHHA* Afterwards me and Elli went to a Cocktail Bar for a drink and then went back to Stefan's. Since Elli had to get up early on Saturday, we went straight to bed and slept until 8 am! YAWN! I walked Elli to the University and then I went home to study. The whole Saturday Elli was at the conference and I studied. Stefan came over to my place around 5 pm to play online poker! Did I mentioned, I NOW HAVE FAAAAAAST DSL CONNECTION! and a 24H FLATRATE!! YEAH! no more dial-up 56k and pay per mins! GREAT! Anyway at 8 pm I picked up Elli with the car, we drove to my place had dinner and went back to Stefan's. We actually wanted to go out that night, party up and all that stuff, but Elli was kinda exhausted from the long busy day, and I didnt really feel like partying up, so we went thru the Neustadt, and ended up in a bar L'Houp. The bar was alright, I went there for my Uni-Xmas-Party, and that night I met some friends..FIN PHRANKLIN a guy from my webdesign class! Gosh he got loooong hair! Good to see him again. On Sunday Elli went back to Leipzig, she was supposed to be picked up by 4 pm but the guy came toooo late, so we had a BUUUURGER at Burger King! Hehe! All in all, great weekend Elli!
Oh wow, another year is over, I read the posts from the last New Years and I can only say, the time passed by soooo fast!! I mean Im turning 24 in 1,5 months! AHHHH! Almost going on 30! AHHHH! hehe, oh well!
On Dec 31, my cousin Stefanie and her boyfriend Manu came over to my apt at around 4 pm. We unpacked there stuff and got ready for the upcoming party! My Mom wasnt home, she celebrated into the new year with Stefanie's Mom, and my Uncle and Granny in Thalheim. At 6 pm we were at Stefan's apartment and started to drink and we had a Doener pizza for dinner! Stefan's friend Pavel came as well, so the guys went downstairs to do fireworks. Although it wasnt midnight yet, but they were not allowed to take the fireworks to the party, so they had their firework before! While they were doing their fireworks me and Steff got dressed up: I wore a goldish top and a short skirt and my cousin wore a black dress. We looked perfect!!! At 8.45pm we took the train to the airport, because the NYE party was at the airport. It was an airport until 2002 I guess, and now it is a party location, but really cool! In the train we met up with Nicole, Nadine, and their friends. Gosh soooo many party people were already in the train, I didnt want to know how many people were already waiting infront of the location to get in. When we got there, about 1000 people were waiting! AHHHHHHHHHH! The thing is, the location opened at 9 pm, and we paid 22 Euro for the ticket, which is an ALL INCLUSIVE ticket, including free drinks and food all night long. Probably many other people got the same idea, why coming at 11 pm, if drinks are free, we will go there at 9 pm when they open, so we can drink drink drink!! Do not ask how long we waited infront of the location, almost 1,5 hours! We lost eachother in the crowd but finally found us somewhere inside..after we waited another hour inside for the getting rid of our clothes. Then finally we had our first drink at 11:30 pm!! Can you believe it? We got there by 9:15 pm!! The good thing was, at the time we got our first drink all other party people went outside to see the fireworks at midnight. So it was empty inside and the bars werent that crowdy, we drunk and drunk and danced til midnight! Just before Midnight I found Josi and Sven!! AHHHH! Yeah! Later that night I also found the Anja's, Anja 1 came with her sister and Anja 2 came with her brother. We met Heiko and his friends, and and and. All in all the beginning sucked, but the rest of the night was AWESOME!!! Around 5 am we took the train back to Stefan's apt, where we went straight to bed...YAWN.
January 1st we had to get up at 2 pm, because it was Stefan's Sisters Birthday! And we were invited for cake'n'coffee at 4 pm. Fortunately I had no hangover, probably because I ate a slice of pizza at party and drunk lotz of water when we came home from party. Anita's Birthday was nice, she got a new TFT screen for her computer! Damn I want one toooooo, I should put it on my birthday-presents-list!
So do you guys have any resolutions? I dont, except maybe do great with my University stuff and work out more. Stefan got a great one: Quit smoking! And he is doing good so far -- go go go Stefan! Pictures!
